Types of Modeling
There is some confusion when filling out the advert form on the site, Hopefully I can clear this up a bit.
Sorry about the male models out there but using one sex makes the wording easier.
I have changed the wording on adult shots to read Adult/Explicit if you do not understand that, then Read Soft Porn or modern "men's magazines" usually tasteless and vulgar.
Runway now reads Runway/Catwalk , or traditional fashion shows, some models are happy in front of a camera but can't cope with being in front of an audience.
Parts
Parts is sometimes confusing so here are some Parts;
It means you may have a beautiful pair of legs, hands, feet or eyes, which may be photographed, usually to advertise a specific product ranging from cosmetics to rubber gloves.
Art
Art is one category that causes confusion, it is basically Artistic where the model is an object or texture and it does not really matter who or what the model is , very esoteric I know , it usually implies nudity or semi nudity but not always.

Not all art involves nudity,
this is no worse than being on the beach |
Glamour
The most confusing of the categories is Glamour, where does casual, art, nude, topless end, well in glamour. it is an all embracing category,
Glamour can include just about anything, but the main thing it that the Model is the center of attention, she is not an object or texture, what she is wearing is not important, nor where she is, the model is the focus of the whole photograph, whether she is dressed, or semi clad or naked, makes no difference , The photograph is about her and making her look as good as possible.

Explanation of a term you may hear "Implied Nudity" is where the model appears to be nude but you can't see any naughty bits, so you can not be sure.

Lingerie
Obvious really

Nude / Topless
The Nude / Topless are really qualifications of other categories and are not categories in their own right. You can do Non Nude Glamour or Non Nude Art, it is just a personal decision.
It makes no difference what it is called, before agreeing to a shoot find out exactly what is expected before you even get there and do not be persuaded to anything else.
